Jim McConnell born 1962 in Dear Field Beach FL 

Moved to York PA in 1967.  Hobbies included, skateboarding and competing in competitions for Dohm Skate Park.  Also Motocrossed for 7 years across the state of PA.

Spent 5 years in USMC working A6 intruder aircraft on aircraft carriers, and as a Drill Instructor at Paris Island S.C.

Upon completion of USMC moved to Orlando Fl in 1987 and started road racing with Florida Grand Prix Riders Association winning the first road race entered.

Was novice FGPRA track champion in 1988 and was unbeaten in 1988 and 1989 with FGPRA.
Started racing AMA/CCS in 1989. In 1991 won 4 regional championships. S.E. Unlimited Supersport Champion, S.E. Heavyweight Superbike Champion, 3rd Heavyweight Supersport and ranked #7. Florida Unlimited Supersport Champion, Florida Heavyweight Superbike Champion, 2nd Heavyweight Supersport, Ranked 3rd.

After a brief 10 year retirement, returning to racing in 2003 finished on the podium in 3rd place in first race back at in a WERA National at Jennings GP. Racing WERA, CCS and FUSA in 2003. Future plans include to retain AMA Superbike license to compete in AMA Superbike Races.


Also an avid Mountain Bike Racer, competing regularly in the Florida State Championships.
